These panoramic photographs require Java or/and a QuickTime viewer enabled on your computer. If they are not already on your computer, Java is a free download from www.java.com Quicktime is a free download from http://www.apple.com/quicktime/download/ Another panorama viewer, a free download from DevalVR is smoother and faster but doesn't have sound.

When I started off with panoramas, 2006, I used Java to display them on internet, but after several problems with images loading I am moving over to QuickTime, 2007, which allows me to use bigger, higher resolution images. I now expect to start using Flash in the near future, 2008. I now realise that I made a mistake using Java for these panoramas. It is OK for small panos, for large high-resolution panos Java runs out of memory, and many of my panos won't run properly. Unfortunately I did not have enough time to change my early websites over to QuickTime .mov panos before leaving UK for the winter in 2007. When I get my act together I shall make some big changes, until then you might find that some of the panos will not run on your computer, sorry. Don't give up plenty will run OK.

The panorama files are normally 1-2MB and can be slow to download if you don't have broadband. Please be patient, they're worth the wait :-)

These photographs have many unusual features. There are different types of panoramas, and some panoramas link to others. I'm currently developing these new techniques, the webpages are constantly changing and sometimes not working as they should :-( However, even at it's worst, it is a fascinating set of photographs.

If you can see this you have QuickTime
